退換政策Refunds & Returns

Herbs are food and medicine, so the rules are stricter than for ordinary goods. Here is exactly where we stand.

The principle

If we got it wrong, we fix it.

If an order arrives damaged, incorrect, incomplete or not in good condition, tell us and we will replace it or refund it. That is not a concession, it is the deal.

What we cannot do is take back herbs that have left the shop in good condition, because we cannot verify how they have been stored and we will not resell them to someone else.

What can be returned

Unopened, sealed, within seven days.

Sealed packaged goods — tins, boxes and sealed proprietary medicines — may be returned within seven days of delivery or collection if the seal is intact and the packaging undamaged. Bring your receipt or order number.

Loose or weighed herbs, made-up soup and tonic packs, prescriptions dispensed to an individual, and any decoction we have brewed for you cannot be returned once they have left the counter. This is a food-safety position, not a commercial one.

If something is wrong

Tell us within 48 hours.

Contact us within forty-eight hours of receiving the order. A photograph helps enormously. Call 6251 3268 or message us on WhatsApp with your order number.

We will replace the item, send the missing part, or refund it — whichever you prefer. If the fault is ours we cover the return postage.

Refunds

Back the way it came.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within seven to ten working days. Delivery charges are refunded where the whole order is at fault, and not where you are returning one item from a larger order.

Cancelling an order

Before it is packed.

Orders can be cancelled free of charge until we have packed them, which is usually the same working day. After a parcel has been collected by the courier the return rules above apply.

A word about suitability

Ask before you buy.

Chinese medicine is matched to the person, not the symptom. Buying the wrong thing for your constitution is not a fault in the goods, so it is not grounds for a return — but it is entirely avoidable. Call or message us and describe who it is for before you order. We would much rather spend five minutes on the phone than have you order something that does not suit you.
